Awesome Reviews

C Pearce
Happy Tree Owner

Anna and Dimitri did a great job carefully removing specific branches from a tree that was getting a bit too big for the space. The tree was still in a lovely shape after their work and reduced in size... perfect. Very meticulous about clearing up afterwards and very polite and friendly service. Good price too. Would highly recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions

The first step in determining the cost to cut down a tree is to have the tree appraised. No ballpark figure can be used because each case is different. If you fill out our contact form or give us a call, we will arrange a free no-obligation quote with you.
You may be surprised to know that, technically, tree surgeons do not cut down trees. The term "tree surgeon" actually refers to a person specialising in the care of trees, including tree removal and general tree care. Tree surgeons perform a variety of tasks for trees and their surrounding environment.

The tasks can include anything from planting trees to removing diseased trees, and from trimming trees to fertilising and treating trees. Tree surgeons are also responsible for the removal of fallen trees and for the prevention of future tree falls.
You want to hire a tree surgeon, but you don't know if he's qualified.
How do you know? Here's how:

1. Check for a business license or a certificate of public liability insurance. Tree Musketeers is pleased to announce that we have up to £2,000,000 public liability insurance.

2. You should ask for qualifications. Most tree surgeons carry their license card as we do at Tree Musketeers Lancashire.

4. Read customer reviews.

5. Look for a company with experience.
Tree surgeons are responsible for the care and maintenance of trees and may be employed by a landscape company, an arborist, or residential or commercial property owners. A tree surgeon may also be referred to as a tree care specialist, arborist, or arboriculturist, and a tree surgeon may work with a team of other professionals to provide care for trees, such as a landscape gardener or land surveyor.
The difference between arborist and tree surgeon is not always clear, but in short, they are quite interchangeable. An arborist is someone who is trained specifically in the care of trees and other woody plants.

The term "arborist" is derived from the Latin word arbor, which means tree. On the other hand, a tree surgeon is a person who specialises in treating and caring for trees. Tree surgeons often work on people's homes, and they are often called in to take care of diseased, dying, or dangerous trees.
